Itineraries

  1. Day 01: Everest Mountain Flight

    5:30 A.M. Get ready for Everest Mountain Flight

    After morning refreshments, our Women Adventure staff will take you to the domestic airport from the hotel. It takes about 20 - 25 minutes to reach the airport.


    6 A.M. Enter the Airport Terminal

    On entering the terminal, our airport staff will hand you the boarding pass of the respective airlines. As it is time for the flight, proceed to check-in through security (please remember sharp items, like pen-knife, scissors or matches, and lighters are not allowed to carry with you).


    6:30 or 7 A.M. Get on board the airplane for Everest Mountain Flight

    After checking in and then a short drive to the parking lot, you will be greeted by the airline staff. As you get seated, by the window, then the aircraft starts moving on the runways and lifts off higher. The flight provides breathtaking views of Kathmandu city and its surrounding valley, adorned with tiers of green hills, along with glimpses of the majestic Manaslu and Ganesh Himal ranges.

     The plane diverts east overlooking, the views of Langtang, Jugal Himal, and Dorje Lakpa peaks, including majestic Mt. Gaurishankar, Melung Tse, Numbur, and Cho-Oyu. As you get closer you will see the views of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, and Nuptse. To the far east, you can see Mt. Makalu, and as far as Mt. Kanchenjunga in the Far Eastern horizon.


    7:30 or 8 A.M. Return journey for landing and back to your hotel.

    The plane then diverts for a return flight heading west, where passengers are seated on the opposite end. You will have the opportunity to view the Himalayan Panorama, before the plane gently and safely touches down. At the airport terminal, the airline staff hands you the certificate of the Everest Mountain Flight as a gesture of appreciation for flying with the respective airlines. You will then walk to the car park for a short drive back to your hotel on time for breakfast.
